A05. As an authorised representative, how do I upload multiple NMIs to my portal account?

A National Metering Identifier (NMI) is a unique number which identifies the electricity supply point at your property. NMIs can be found on the customer's account from their electricity retailer. 

To assist with Adding Multiple NMIs, Your meter Data provides a bulk NMI upload template. After downloading the template to your computer and adding the required information you can upload it back into the portal. Your Meter Data will then validate the data and guide you through making any necessary changes before submitting the NMIs to your portal account.

If the upload of a particular NMI fails with the following comment, 'a technical issue occurred while adding your NMI', then please verify the NMI number. The one you have provided is not recognised by our system.
